Le Radici e le ali  The roots and the wings 
Simone Massi nasce a Pergola (Pesaro-Urbino) nel maggio 1970. Ex-operaio, di origine contadina, ha studiato Cinema di Animazione alla Scuola d’Arte di Urbino. Animatore indipendente, da 20 anni sta cercando -in maniera pulita- di fare diventare la sua passione per il disegno un mestiere. Nonostante le difficoltà ha ideato e realizzato (da solo e interamente a mano) una decina di piccoli film di animazione che sono stati mostrati in 62 Paesi dei 5 Continenti ed hanno raccolto oltre 200 premi. Rimbocchiamoci le maniche e dopo andiamo avanti.
Simone Massi was Born in Pergola (Pesaro-Urbino, Italy) on May 1970. Ex-worker, of peasants origin, he studied Film Animation at the Art School of Urbino. Independent animator, from 20 years he is trying -in a clean way- to make his passion for drawing become a job. Despite the difficulties he has conceived and realized (alone and entirely by hand) a dozen small animation films that have been shown in 62 Countries of 5 Continents and have collected over 200 awards.
